Spiritual Intuition
Intuition is the apparent ability to acquire knowledge without inference or the use of reason. The most common place for intuition in our daily lives is the subtle hints we receive throughout the day from our intuition. It is those moments in time when we feel a sense of knowing, a voice telling us to follow that truck, or take that turn, or call this friend, or buy this product for this person. It is a sense from the unknown that brings positive results to our lives when we follow the urge that is presented.
Spiritual intuition is a gentle and effective tool that can be very helpful when making decisions that effect our livelihood. When used to it’s fullest extent it can be placed in our lives to conjure answers to difficult situations. Most of do not fully understand what this intuitive power is and we either ignore it or we just pass it on and pay it little attention. When you follow through on your hunches you are actually honing in on these connective skills.
When we learn to understand these moments of intuitive knowing, then we can grasp a gift that is precious to us. Have you even had a major decision come up in your life and you truly had no idea where you needed to go to bring happiness into your life? It is moments like these when affirming your intuition would be beneficial to you.
When you begin to listen with your heart you will discover things about yourself and the world that you never knew existed. Intuition is like an unused muscle. As we begin to listen for it and react to its presence then it is strengthened. As it is strengthened it’s presence becomes stronger as well. The best part is that spiritual intuition can be applied to any questions concerning you. From business to personal to spiritual insight, it can all be opened to you.
Begin by using meditation as a daily practice. With meditation your mind is quieted. You slow down the mundane information that overwhelms your mind and this allows the inner voice to be heard. Meditation is as simple as sitting with your legs crossed, back straight, arms relaxed, and by focusing on your breathing you will center yourself. These focused breaths are amazingly helpful. You will have thoughts of your everyday activities pop into your mind, but don’t fret over them, acknowledge them and release them and move back to the concentration on your breathing. It is as simple as spending 10-30 a day doing this meditation. In as little as a week your mind will calm itself and your intuition will begin to shine. Practice asking questions before meditation and you will see the intuitive river begin to flow on it’s own. It is beautiful insight.
